Manual fire alarm call points are devices which can be pressed by someone to raise the alarm in the event of a fire. They should be placed along exits, stairwells and passageways at least every 30m and must be adequately lit either by daylight, mains lighting or by emergency lighting.
There is a large variety of call points available so you can choose the right one for your needs. We offer a range of call points which can include the following features:
- Featuring Break Glass/Plastic element; to suit your preference
- System is resettable
- Manual Test Key included
- Flush or Surface Mounted systems available
- All systems are waterproof
We can supply and install the fire call points in Birmingham industrial, commercial and residential buildings. These work by being connected to the main fire alarm system so once the break-glass is broken and/or the button is pressed, the building’s fire alarm will sound, alerting everyone to evacuate the building.
Here at Island Fire Protection, all of our manual call points are manufactured and installed to a high standard. We can help you map out where the best places to install the call points are on your premises and will make sure that you are aware of their location and how to operate them.
